Appalachian Trail hike (March 16, 1997 - July 22, 1997) and (July 10, 1998 - July 25, 1998)

A quick tour through New Jersey (where I had my only bear encounter) and I was on my way to New York. By this time, the heat was getting unbearable, but at least the mosquitos were not going hungry.
